Strickland's II was founded in the early 1990's by Larry Margroff and his family, primarily to provide winter employment for family members during the off-season of the original Strickland's.  Originally located in Ellet, Ohio, the store was moved to the Montrose area due to high customer demand for a Strickland's in that area. Strickland's II is still owned and operated by third generation Stricklands family members, Scott and Alicia Margroff.
